Judy Sng, PhD, is an Associate Professor (Educator Track) and Education Director (Nursing Curriculum, Digital Transformation & Extramural Courses), Department of Pharmacology at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Judy has a doctoral degree in Neuropharmacology from Kanazawa University, Japan, whereby she was a recipient of the Monbukasho (Japanese government) scholarship and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) from the National University of Singapore. Judy is a medical educator with strengths in innovative pedagogies. Her passion in neuroscience links brain circuitry to artificial intelligence and medical education and she is the co-developer and co-creator of the Virtual Integrated Patient and series of educational tools related to Pharmacology. Prior to being an educator, she was a principal investigator at Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences, A*STAR from 2009-2014. She still actively pursuing her interest in neuroscience and continues to head her neuroepigenetics lab. She will share with you how she balances her love for science and being an educator.
